The way we currently live and travel asks for a fundamental change. The pressure on the global ecological system is increasing drastically. Tourism is destroying its foundations.
That is why we found together in 2023, doing a deep dive research within our international networks and starting to develop the concept of the REGENERATIVE TOURISM INITIATIVE LUCERNE.
This is clear:
Several tipping points have already been crossed. Driven by the paradigm of economic growth, however, we are currently heading for even increased destruction.
But a system change means to change how we think about our role in the world, how we act and collaborate. There needs to be a shift of mindset first.
